BMW ORACLE Racing placed third overall in the fleet racing at the RC 44 Malcesine Cup which concluded Sunday on Lake Garda in Italy. The team finsihed fifth overall at the Malcesine Cup for the combined score of match racing and fleet racing events.

Going into the final day of racing in the 2009 RC 44 Championship Tour on Lake Garda, Italy, on Sunday, the top teams were close in the standings setting up what should be a hotly contested final day of fleet racing action.
